For years, it was believed the wide reeding coins all came with a D1 reverse. However, that theory was upended in 2006 when Ash Harrison found the VAM 44 with the D1 reverse. Six months later, Rob Joyce discovered a second example of the same coin while going through some of Larry Briggs' 1921 coins. Two years later, only two examples are known.

This book leads the reader through the steps to identify each of the wide reeding coins, including the VAM 44.
