The major design changes in the Morgan Dollar reverse designs include 8 TF, 7 TF over 8 TF, B1, Reverse of 1878 and Reverse of 1879. This book covers the modifications to the original 8 tail feather reverses which were made of necessity because the Philadelphia Mint experienced early working die failure and unintentional removal of parts of the eagle's design when the dies were polished.

This book will make you think and has photographs of pick-up-points on several varieties that can't be found in other books.
