Obverse II 1- Horizontal die gouge in rays well below B of LIBERTY

The 1925-P VAM 1A, much like the 1922-P VAM 1A, displays a distinctive die gouge in Liberty?s tiara, running horizontally across the tiara rays under the 'B' of LIBERTY. Fortunately, there are no other 1925-P varieties that are commonly confused with this one, so any long, thin straight line of metal cutting across Liberty?s tiara is a dead give-away that you?ve got the VAM 1A.
