[PCGS calls this VAM 7, but it is, in fact, VAM 7B.]

The doubling on the right-most edge of the eagle?s wing is so dramatic on the VAM 7 that initially there was some discussion as to whether this was a doubled die, or something else. Reason prevailed, and now everyone agrees that the Doubled Wing on the VAM 7 is the result of a breath-taking doubled die. Other reverse features are also doubled. Note that there are two different obverses known to have this same reverse. One has a "dot" of metal between the T and R of TRUST (VAM 7B), and the other has no "dot" but rather has diagonal die polishing lines running across the TR (VAM 7A). The "dot" variety is rarer, yet there haven?t been many collector complaints that they couldn?t find a specimen of the VAM 7. [PCGS only has VAM 7 on the label. However, the "dot" of metal is clear.]
