Reverse B2a - Normal die

VAM-2F is the result of a die gouge crossing Liberty's tiara below the letter "E" in "LIBERTY".

MS62 - ANACS

The VAM 2F, more commonly called the "Hair Pin" variety, displays a horizontal die gouge across several rays in Liberty?s tiara. And yes, it does in fact resemble a pin holding Liberty?s hair in place. Often found in BU grades, the only surprise here is that the VAM 2F population thins out dramatically above MS64. Even so, this variety is readily available in lower grades, and it is often promoted as a popular TOP 50 variety.
