24A(revised) IV 18 ? D2a (Tripled E PLURIBUS, Die Break U & N, Pitted Star) (189) I-3 R-6

Obverse IV 18? Raised dots from rusted die pits around fourth right star.

Reverse D2a? Die crack thru top of UNITED and bottom of ONE DOLLAR with large die break t top of U up to rim, break at top of N in UNITED, break on lower point of left star and field displacement between NE of ONE. Some fine raised dots around G in God and ONE from rusted die.

1-28-08: Leroy has determined that this VAM is the same as 1921-P VAM-3M. It is not clear yet which of the two will be eliminated.
