This coin is a Top 100 Morgan VAM

(VAM-7 has been Incorporated in VAM-5)

5(revised)III24 ? C3c (Doubled 2, Ear, O/O Top, Very Near Date, Overlapping Reeding) ( ? ) I-4 R-4

Obverse III24? 2 in date doubled at top outside of upper loop as thin arc. Some specimens show machine or strike doubling of top of date digits and some right stars. Ear strongly doubled on right out outside of large lobe and on left and right inside. Date set much further left than normal.

Reverse C3c? Medium III O mint mark set high and tilted slightly to left with doubling at top left outside.

Edge-- Reeding on edge is overlapping for about 8 segments at two locations 180? apart varying from 3 and 9 o?clock to 6 and 12 o?clock.
