10(revised) III24 ? C3g (O/O Left, Far Date, Gouge Right Star) (181) I-2 R-4
Reverse C3g? II O mint mark re-punched with original showing as a wavy vertical line within left side of opening. So-called O/CC variety. Early die states show broad polishing gouge below right star.

This is the same coin that was advertised at outlandous prices and called the O over CC and the only year other than 1900 where such a use of dies would be found. Walter Breen was so sure this coin was a reuse of dies from the Carson City Mint that he issued a letter with his findings, along with drawings to bolster his positon. Any one buying this coin will recieve a copy of Breen's letter written in 1964.
