ANACS MS63

Obverse II/1 7 - Type II LIBERTY; doubled E, P, and R; doubled 187 in date with 1 doubled on left at shaft, 8 on top surface, and 7 on left of top serif; all stars on left and first three stars on right doubled. Area around nose and lips overpolished. Fine diagonal polishing line through R in LIBERTY.

Reverse B/Aa - Four talons on left and right; extra one shifted to left by width of one toe.Tail feather lines on left of eagle's right leg.

NGC lists this variety with the 7/8 Tail feather varieties. However, PCGS lists it with other Reverse of 78 varieties.

VAM-30 is easy to overlook. The extra talon appears at the base of the eagles left leg's left toe.

On the obverse, E, P, and R are doubled. 187 is doubled in the date. All stars on the left and the first three stars on the right are doubled.
