Obverse I?2 - Slightly doubled tops of E and P of E PLURIBUS. Doubled bottom of last star on left. Doubled 87 in date. First 8 doubled slightly at bottom right outside. 7 doubled slightly on right side of vertical shaft.

Reverse A?C - Letters in UNITED doubled strongly on top and bottom. STATES OF AMERICA letters doubled at bottom. ONE DOLLAR letters doubled at top. Left wreath strongly doubled. Three small feathers added on eagle's right and two on eagle's left side between leg and bottom of wing.

The area in front of the eye is a good area to check to attribute VAM-3. Notice how flat the area to the left of the eye really is. There are also fine vertical die polishing lines to the left of the flat area. Check out the doubled eyelid. Extra metal under the eyelid and many parallel polishing lines in front of the eye.
